What is Peppol?

Peppol is a network for exchanging e-invoices and other business documents between companies through certified access points. In Belgium, B2B invoices must be sent over Peppol since 1 January 2026.

Which number should I enter?

For Belgian companies, the enterprise number (KBO/BCE, e.g. 0123.456.749) or VAT number (BE0123456749): we check both. For German and Dutch companies, their VAT number. You can also enter a full Peppol ID like 0208:0123456749.

What does "not found" mean?

No access point has registered that ID in the Peppol network. The company may not be on Peppol yet, or may be registered under a different ID.
