Calculation and consistency rules · severity: error · in EN 16931 (UBL), EN 16931 (CII)
Official rule text
VAT category tax amount (BT-117) = VAT category taxable amount (BT-116) x (VAT category rate (BT-119) / 100), rounded to two decimals.
What it means
The VAT amount in a VAT breakdown row doesn't equal its taxable amount × rate. Check rounding: EN 16931 calculates VAT per rate on the summed base, not per line.
