Billit for Stripe after 1 January 2027

Billit is Stripe's recommended e-invoicing partner, and its Stripe app is free until 1 January 2027. If you invoice Belgian or German customers from Stripe, now is a good time to check what you will pay and need after that date. Status: 22 October 2026.

What we know

• Stripe Invoicing does not create legally compliant e-invoices on its own and names Billit as its preferred partner (Stripe).
• Billit's Stripe Marketplace listing said free until 1 January 2027 when we checked on 21 October 2026.
• We could not find a published price for the time after that (checked 22 October 2026). We will update this page when Billit publishes one.

What to compare

• Price per invoice after the free period, and whether there is a monthly minimum.
• Formats: Peppol BIS 3.0 for Belgium; XRechnung (with Leitweg-ID for German public bodies) or ZUGFeRD for Germany.
• Setup: is a separate account needed, and what identity or Peppol verification is required?
• Validation: is each e-invoice checked against the official rules before it is sent, and can you see the result?
• Your files: can you download the XML of every invoice for your records?
